Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in Sicily in September?
Sitting off the toe of Italy’s boot, Sicily’s the largest island in the Mediterranean. This gives it typical Mediterranean weather with long, hot summers. You'll get lots of sun if you're going in September, which is a bit cooler than the peak months of July and August, although the amount of rain starts to rise as autumn gets closer. Mount Etna’s one of the world’s tallest volcanoes and has quite a big impact on the weather. It protects the south from north westerly winds, so you'll be warmer and drier here. The southeast coast’s also slightly calmer.
Averages
The average high in capital Palermo is 27ºC in September with things staying nice and warm in the evenings. Temperatures only drop to 19ºC at night so you shouldn't need much more than shorts and t-shirts. The sea temperature’s 25ºC, while humidity’s low. There’s 37mm of rain over five days, and you can expect 12 hours of daylight with eight hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be high so take sun cream, and sunset’s just after 7.30pm at the start of the month.
