Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in Sicily in May?
Sicily sits just off of mainland Italy, and is the largest island in the Mediterranean. It has typical Mediterranean weather with long and hot summers. In May, summer is just around the corner and the weather is warm and sunny with very little rain. Sicily’s quite mountainous and this has a big impact on the weather. You'll be warmest and driest in the south east, which is protected from north westerly winds, but temperatures can get hot all over the island when warm winds blow over from the Sahara Desert.
Averages
The average high in capital Palermo is 21ºC in May. This falls to 14ºC at night, so you should bring some warmer clothes for the evenings. The sea temperature is 19ºC, while humidity’s low. There’s 22mm of rain over five days, and you can expect 14 hours of daylight with nine hours of sunshine each day. Don't forget to pack your sun cream as UV levels will be very high.
