Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in Sardinia in October?
Sardinia’s the second largest island in the Mediterranean, and sits in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the west coast of Italy and north coast of Africa. October still feels very summery, and you can look forward to warm weather and plenty of sun at this time, although there’s more rain than summer.
Regional variances
Sardinia has quite typical Mediterranean weather, although there’s some differences across the island as it’s quite hilly. You'll get more rain in the north than the south, while capital Cagliari in the southeast’s surrounded by lush wetlands that make it mild and humid. North of Cagliari there’s a region of flat, dry plains where temperatures are more extreme. Things are cooler and wetter closer to the mountains, while you'll be kept cool by breezes on the coast locations. Sardinia’s known for being quite windy as it gets several winds from places such as the Sahara Desert and the Alps.
Averages
The average high’s 22ºC in October, so it’s still nice and warm. You should bring some warmer things for the evenings though as it can get quite cool at night. The sea temperature’s 21ºC, while humidity’s low. Average rainfall’s 41mm over 11 rainy days, and you can still expect six hours of sunshine from the 11 hours of daylight each day. UV levels will be moderate. Sunset’s just after 7pm at the start of October. Daylight saving brings this forward to 5.20pm towards the end of the month.
