Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in Sardinia in May?
Sardinia has a typical Mediterranean climate and is located in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the west coast of Italy. This means the second largest island in the Mediterranean has long hot summers that start to take off in May. If you're going at this time, you'll have plenty of warm and sunny weather with not much rain. There’s differences in weather across Sardinia as it’s quite hilly. You'll be driest in the south, while the wetlands that surround the capital of Cagliari in the south east, have mild and humid weather. Sea breezes and winds from the Alps will help to keep you cool, although things can get really hot when the Sahara Desert sends warm winds over.
Averages
The average high in Sardinia is 22ºC in May, which drops to quite a cool 12ºC at night. The sea temperature is 17ºC, while humidity’s low. There’s 19mm of rain over nine days, and you can expect 14 hours of daylight with nine hours of sunshine each day. Make sure you bring plenty of sun cream as UV levels will be very high. The sun goes down at around 8.30pm for much of the month.
