Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in Italy in October?
Italy’s position on the Mediterranean coast, as well as its mountains, cause it to have quite different weather depending on what region you visit. The Alps protect most of Italy from cold northern winds, which along with the Mediterranean gives the country quite pleasant weather. You'll get the best weather in the south if you plan your holidays to Italy in October, although there’s more rain and cooler temperatures than summer. Things are coolest in the mountains which get more popular for snow sports as the year goes on.
Averages
Rome is in Italy’s south and gives a good idea of the country’s weather. You'll have an average high of 23ºC in October, which drops to quite a cool 11ºC at night making it nice and pleasant in the day but necessary to wear warmer clothes in the evenings. Humidity’s low, while there’s 38mm of rain over eight days. You can expect 11 hours of daylight with six hours of sunshine at a moderate UV level. Sunset’s just before 7pm at the start of October and closer to 5pm by the end of the month because of daylight saving.
