Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What’s the weather like in Italy in May?
From the Mediterranean shores of Sicily to the dramatic peaks of the Alps, Italy is a vast country with varying weather depending on where you visit. As a rule of thumb the northern regions are usually slightly cooler than the south. Wherever you stay at this time of year though, you’ll enjoy warm temperatures, increasing amounts of sunshine and fewer crowds compared to the height of summer.
Averages
In May, the capital Rome has an average temperature of 21°C, while Venice is slightly cooler at an average of 17°C. Naples on the south Mediterranean coast enjoys highs of 23°C, making this a good time of year to spend days on the beach. At night, things can get quite cool with lows of 11°C in Rome, so it’s a good idea to pack some extra layers. With just over 30mm of rain expected in the capital, and just over 70mm in Milan, there is a chance of showers so make sure you bring a light rain coat.
