Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in Lake Garda in May?
Lake Garda is in northern Italy between Milan and Verona, meaning it has Mediterranean weather. Temperatures are rising in May, and you'll get plenty of sun if you're going at this time, although May is one of the area’s wettest months. You'll find it warmer here compared to other parts of northern Italy though, because of the nearby mountains that help keep the lake waters warm. From around midnight to mid-morning, winds blow in from the north while from around midday to sunset, they arrive from the south. This will help to keep you cool and comfortable as well as making Lake Garda great for water sports.
Averages
The average high in Lake Garda is 22ºC in May. This drops to a cool 10ºC at night so you should bring some warmer clothes for the evenings. Humidity’s low, while there’s 88mm of rain over 13 days. You can expect 15 hours of daylight with seven hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be high so remember to use plenty of sun cream. The sun goes down at almost 9pm by the end of the month, perfect for dinner with a view.
