What’s the weather like in Florence in May?

Its location in the north of Italy means that Florence enjoys a humid subtropical climate with slighter higher temperatures than along the coast. This is because the prevailing winds blowing in from the sea rarely reach as far as Florence, leading to a slightly warmer and calmer climate.
