Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in Santorini in October?
Santorini’s an archipelago of five volcanic islands in the southern Aegean, some 200km southeast of mainland Greece. Plan your Santorini holidays in October you'll have cooler temperatures compared to the height of summer, although the weather’s still warm and you'll get lots of sunshine.
Two seasons
Santorini’s the furthest south of the Cyclades islands, and has hot Mediterranean weather that’s more like two seasons rather than four. October’s the last month of a warm and dry summer that starts in April, with things getting cooler and wetter in winter. Santorini’s a bit cooler than other Mediterranean islands, so it’s ideal if you prefer lower temperatures. You'll be kept cool by the sea and breezes if you're on the coast.
Averages
The average high’s 23ºC in October, so it’s still nice and warm, although you should bring a warmer jumper for the evenings as things cool to 16ºC at night. The sea’s still inviting at 23ºC, while humidity’s low. There’s 38mm of rain over four days, and you can expect 11 hours of daylight with seven hours of sunshine at a moderate UV level. The sun goes down just after 7pm at the start of October, with the end of daylight saving bringing this forward to just before 5.30pm towards the end of the month.
