What's the weather like in Lefkas in September?
Lefkas is a beautiful island off the west coast of Greece, connected to the mainland by a bridge. It has a Mediterranean climate which brings hot, sunny summers and mild winters to this popular Ionian destination. In September, temperatures start to cool down as the warmest period of the year comes to an end, though temperatures can still get high at this time.

The average temperature in Lefkas is 22ºC at this time of year, reaching a high of 25ºC in the height of the day. After dark, the average low dips to 18ºC, which is just right for exploring the local shops, bars and restaurants in the evenings. The amount of rainfall begins to pick up after the dry summer, with just under 50mm expected in September, although there’s still nine hours of sunshine each day. If you want to go for a dip in the Ionian Sea, the water’s a beautiful 25ºC this month.
