Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806

What’s the weather like in Kefalonia in August?
Sitting in the Ionian Sea, the Greek island of Kefalonia has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. August is the hottest month on the island, perfect for enjoying the warm golden sunshine, stunning beaches and sparkling blue waters. If you’re not a fan of intense heat, the cooling Meltemi winds which blow off the sea will be welcome.

On average, Kefalonia has beautifully warm daytime temperatures of 26°C, with highs of 29°C in the hottest part of the afternoon. At night the temperature drops to 18°C, so you may need a few light layers for evenings out. For days on the beach, at this time of year you’ll see 13 hours of sunshine each day, while the sea’s a warm 26°C, ideal for swimming and snorkelling. With just 5mm of rain expected in August, there’s little chance of showers on your holiday to Kefalonia at this time of year.
