Greece borders three oceans and enjoys a mild but damp climate in winter. Greece weather in December is cool in places with wetter days than the summer months. Strong winds are also likely to occur in this month, but you’ll still get to enjoy a good deal of sunshine with fewer crowds at the popular tourist attractions and on the Greek Islands.

Greece is located in southeast Europe with lots of sunny islands throughout the Ionian Sea and the Aegean Sea. The country has a typical Mediterranean climate that brings cooler temperatures to the region in winter.
