Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What’s the weather like in Crete in March?
Sitting in the southern Aegean, Crete’s the largest Greek island. It’s between mainland Greece and the north coast of Africa, which means it has a warm Mediterranean climate. Temperatures are nice and pleasant all throughout winter and spring. If you're going on your Crete holidays in March you can expect a good amount of warm and sunny weather, although you'll also see some rain. The central mountains that run east to west across Crete mean you'll find that things are hotter and drier in the south than in the north. This is because the mountains will shelter you from north westerly winds. Breezes will keep you comfortable on the coast, where it’s warmer than in the mountains.
Averages
The average high in Crete is 17ºC in March, which drops to 8ºC at night. It gets quite chilly in the evenings so you should bring some warmer clothes with you. The sea temperature is 16ºC, while humidity’s low. There’s 62mm of rain over eight days, and you can expect 12 hours of daylight with six hours of sunshine each day and moderate UV levels. Sunset’s at 6.15pm at the start of March. This is at 7.40pm by the end of the month due to daylight saving.
