Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday

What’s the weather like in Crete in August?

The largest of the Greek islands, Crete’s in the southern Aegean between mainland Greece and North Africa. You'll have soaring temperatures in August as summer reaches its peak, and Crete has the warmest climate in all of Greece. The central mountains that run from east to west across the island mean you'll be warmer and drier in the south than the north as they block north westerly winds. The sea breeze will keep you cool on the coast, while things are typically cooler in the mountains.

The normal high in Crete is 29ºC in August, which only drops to 20ºC at night time meaning you won’t need to bring many warm clothes with you. The sea’s at its yearly high temperature of 25ºC, while humidity’s moderate. There’s usually just a single millimetre of rain, and you can expect 13 hours of daylight with 11 long hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be very high so sun cream is a must.
