What’s the weather like in Crete in April?

Crete’s the biggest Greek island and sits in the southern Aegean between the mainland and North Africa. This means the island enjoys warm weather as it moves through spring in April. It’s also the start of Crete’s tourist season, and you’ll get lots of sunshine and not much rainfall at this time.

The mountains that run from east to west across Crete give the south of the island hotter and drier weather, which is reflected in its appearance.
