What’s the weather like in Corfu in March?
Corfu is a popular holiday destination in the Ionian Sea off the shores of Greece. As spring arrives, the island starts to warm up after the milder winter months. In March the island enjoys mild temperatures, perfect for exploring in the great outdoors, discovering traditional villages and finding tranquil coves. The sea is still quite chilly at this time of year, and there is a chance of rain showers so you’ll need to pack your waterproof jacket.
Averages
With average temperatures of 11°C at the start of March, rising to 14°C at the end of the month, this is a great time of year to book your holidays to Corfu if you want to avoid the heat of summer. There are highs of 16°C and lows of 8°C at night, so you’ll need to pack sun cream for the bright days and warm layers for the cooler evenings. With an average of 12 hours of daylight, the days are long enough to really make the most of your holiday on this beautiful Greek island. You’ll need to be prepared for some wet weather though, with 108mm of rain on average.
