What's the weather like in Kavos in September?
Located on the Greek island of Corfu, Kavos is a popular beach resort with a Mediterranean climate bringing long, hot summers and shorter, mild winters to the region. September marks the end of the summer on Corfu, but although temperatures are beginning to dip in Kavos, the weather’s still beautifully warm and ideal if you want to relax on the beach while avoiding the high season crowds.Averages
At this time of year, the average temperature’s still a mild 19°C, reaching highs of a glorious 26°C in the peak of the day. After dark, temperatures dip to around 12°C, so you’ll need warm layers for evenings out at the local bars and restaurants. Around 25mm of rain’s expected over the course of the month, so September is usually dry with just a few scattered showers. The Mediterranean waters are an inviting 25°C, ideal for swimming or snorkelling.
