What's the weather like in Corfu in February?
With its Mediterranean climate, the Greek island of Corfu has mild, wet winters bringing cooler temperatures and some rain showers to the region. February falls at the end of the winter season, so although the weather’s still very mild, the days start to warm up slightly as the month goes on. The beaches of Corfu are deserted at this time of year, but February is a good month for exploring the local sights as long as you don’t mind the cold and some wet spells.
Averages
In Corfu, the average daytime temperature in February is a mild 10°C. With highs of around 13°C, it’s quite cool during the day so you’ll need to pack jumpers and jackets to stay warm both day and night. After dark, the temperature dips to a chilly 6°C, so it’s worth bringing a winter coat as well. Around 150mm of rain is expected in February, while the Mediterranean Sea is a chilly 15°C, so if you want to relax on the beach it’s worth waiting for the summer months.
