What's the weather like in Egypt in September?
Sitting in North Africa across the Red Sea from the Middle East, the weather in Egypt’s mainly hot and dry. Temperatures are still soaring in September and you'll get plenty of sun and no rain if you're heading for the country’s most popular resorts. Egypt’s mainly desert and to the south of Cairo, including the Red Sea Riviera, there’s virtually no rain all year round. The Mediterranean coast has the wettest weather with the rest of Egypt being protected from rain by the Atlas Mountains. In coastal spots such as Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada, you'll get slightly cooler temperatures because of north westerly winds and sea breezes.
