What’s the weather like in Hurghada in May?
Hurghada is a popular resort in Egypt, with a subtropical climate bringing beautiful sunshine all year round and hot temperatures in the height of summer. In May, the average temperature in Hurghada is a lovely warm 27°C, with highs of 32°C in the peak of the day. With high UV levels, you’ll need to apply sun cream regularly and seek shade between 11am and 3pm. At night temperatures dip to a pleasant low of 22°C, which is welcome after the heat of the day. Just 1mm of rain is expected this month, so wet weather won’t affect your holiday. Instead, you can bask in 11 hours of daily sunshine and swim in the warm 24°C seas.
