What’s the weather like in Hurghada in July?
Hurghada is a popular resort along Egypt’s Red Sea coast, not far from the tip of the Sinai Peninsula. It has a subtropical climate which brings warm weather to the region all year round, with temperatures at their peak in July. This month’s the height of summer in Hurghada, and it gets very hot in the warmest part of the day. Because the resort’s drenched in sunshine at this time of year, Hurghada’s the perfect destination for a beach holiday.
Averages
The average temperature in Hurghada’s 30ºC in July, reaching a high of 35ºC in the peak of the afternoon. With extremely strong UV levels and 13 hours of sunshine each day, it’s important to look after yourself by applying plenty of high factor sun cream. After dark, temperatures only drop to 25ºC, so you’ll probably want air conditioning in your hotel room to keep comfortable at night. There’s no rain in Hurghada over July, while the Red Sea water’s a warm 28ºC, perfect for making the most of the region’s incredible marine life.
