What’s the weather like in Red Sea in December?
Even though it’s the coolest month of the year, the Red Sea weather in December is still hot, dry and with bags of sunshine. Egypt’s premier resorts of Sharm El Sheikh, El Gouna and Hurghada are very popular with families and couples around Christmas.
Geographical influences
Egypt’s Red Sea resorts enjoy a cool sea breeze, making the conditions more comfortable than hot inland cities and towns. Sharm El Sheikh’s dry climate is helped by the huge Atlas Mountains to the north, which frequently block any rains from moving south to the Gulf of Aqaba.
