What's the weather like in Egypt in November?

Located in North Africa and separated from the Middle East by the Red Sea, Egypt’s climate’s always hot and dry. In November you can look forward to high temperatures, lots of sun and hardly any rain. If you’d rather stay away from the searing heat of summer then you should plan your holidays to Egypt in winter.

Red Sea Riviera

Egypt’s mostly desert, and there’s hardly any rain south of Cairo. This includes the popular Red Sea Riviera. There’s only really rain on the Mediterranean coast, so places like the Sinai Peninsula, which is where popular Sharm El Sheikh is, stay bone dry. This is because of the Atlas Mountains. North westerly winds, breezes and the sea will keep you cool in spots such as Sharm and Hurghada, which you might a bit more comfortable than places inland like Cairo and Luxor.
