What's the weather like in Protaras in August?

Located on the south-east coast of Cyprus, Protaras is a popular spot close to the vibrant resort of Aiya Napa. The weather’s really hot over summer, and temperatures are at their highest in August. Although this is a busy time of year in Protaras, it’s the best period for sun-drenched beach holidays. After dark, temperatures dip to 21ºC, which is perfect for evenings out in the resort, or trips over to the bars in neighbouring Aiya Napa. There isn’t usually any rain in Protaras in August, leaving you to enjoy 11 hours of sunshine each day without the chance of a shower.
