In August, the average temperature in Protaras is 27ºC, reaching a high of 32ºC in the peak of the afternoon. With temperatures like these and the strong UV levels, remember to apply plenty of sun cream. After dark, temperatures dip to 21ºC, which is perfect for evenings out in the resort, or trips over to the bars in neighbouring Aiya Napa. There isn’t usually any rain in Protaras in August, leaving you to enjoy 11 hours of sunshine each day without the chance of a shower.
