Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What’s the weather like in Cyprus in August?
Sitting off the south coast of Turkey and just north of Egypt, Cyprus enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate as well as high temperatures from nearby Southwest Asia. With weather similar in both the north and south, August is one of the hottest months of the year although you’ll be kept cool by breezes on the coast. Cyprus has two mountain ranges that protect the east from westerly winds so you'll be warmer and drier here.
Averages
The average high in popular Paphos on the west coast is 30ºC in August. Things stay lovely and warm in the evenings as temperatures only drop to 21ºC at night, so you won’t need much more than shorts and t-shirts. The normal sea temperature’s 28ºC while humidity is high. There’s not usually any rain in August and you can expect 11 hours of sunshine from the 13 hours of daylight each day. UV levels will be very high so bring plenty of sun cream. Sunset’s just before 8pm at the start of the month.
