What’s the weather like in Dubrovnik in April?
Dubrovnik weather in April is lovely and warm with the highest temperatures of the year so far. It’s a great time to visit because the weather holds up for most of the month and it’s still quiet in the city.
Geographical influences
Dubrovnik is a beautiful city in southern Croatia just opposite Italy. The climate is typically Mediterranean with hot, dry summers and cool, slightly damp winters. April offers the perfect blend between the two seasons with mild temperatures and just a few showers spread over the month. The Adriatic coastline is known for its winds, which blow down the coast from October to April. Thunderstorms are a possibility but are usually quite short so you won’t have to wait long to get back out in the sunshine.

The average temperature is around 12°C with highs of 16°C. At night, the weather cools to 7°C, so make sure to pack a jacket for the evenings in Dubrovnik.
