The water temperature this month averages 20°C, which helps to keep conditions inland very mild as well. The average will reach 19°C in October and often a few degrees warmer in the south. At night it can drop to between 10°C to 12°C and you’ll need a jacket. The sun shines for around six hours each day in the west of Croatia and it doesn’t set until 6.30pm.
