Tobago, and the neighbouring island of Trinidad, enjoys a balmy Caribbean climate all-year round. The wet season’s from June to December and March is in the middle of the drier season. You’ll really be able to make the most of the incredible tropical weather in Tobago in March. The average high temperature’s a fantastic 31°C and it rarely drops more than four or five degrees lower during the day. At night it’s a cooler 19°C or 20°C. The crystal-clear Caribbean Sea’s wonderful at this time too and should be about 26°C. The sunshine hours are impressive. The sun rises at 6.15am and doesn’t set until after 6pm, with an average of eight hours bright sunshine each day. Rainfall dips to just 35mm around Tobago in March with only nine days seeing some wet weather. The wind speeds are medium but the UV index is high, so take care as you sunbathe along the beaches.
