What’s the weather like in St Lucia in June?

Located in the Caribbean and close to the equator, St Lucia has a tropical climate with a dry and wet season. June marks the start of St Lucia’s rainy season which lasts right through to November, so if you visit the island at this time of year you’ll need to come prepared with a light rain jacket. Temperatures are still hot and the skies are only partially cloudy, so it’s still a good month for being in the sun as long as you don’t mind the occasional shower.

In the daytime, St Lucia has an average temperature of 28°C, and with highs of 30°C you’ll need to protect yourself from UV rays with plenty of sun cream. At night the temperature only dips slightly to 26°C, so you’ll be grateful for air conditioning. As the month goes on the chance of rain increases, with around 140mm across an average of 20 wet days. If you’re planning on spending lots of time at the beach, the sea’s a balmy 28°C, perfect for swimming even on cloudy days.
