What’s the weather like in Playacar in May?
Get ready for a superb sunshine holiday on the east coast of Mexico. The Playacar weather in May sees temperatures reach 30°C, but there’ll be some tropical showers, because the dry season ends in this part of the Caribbean.

Even though it’ll be hot in Playacar and the nearby resort of Cancun, the cooling sea breeze from the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico will keep you refreshed. Further inland, away from the golden beaches, the temperature rises by a few degrees.
