What’s the weather like in Playacar in March?
The Playacar weather in March is very warm and dry and perfect for a spring break to this stunning Mexican beach resort. There’ll only be light tropical showers, as it’s the dry season along Mexico’s pretty east coast by the Caribbean Sea.
Geographical influences
The modern resort of Playacar, on the Yucatan Peninsula, close to Cancun, has a year-round warm climate. The dry season’s from November to April and thanks to the refreshing breeze, temperatures by the coast are much more comfortable than the hot conditions further inland.
Averages
Visitors come back again and again to Playacar in the spring because of its amazing Caribbean climate. The average daytime high temperature’s a delightful 29°C, which can often rise to 30°C on hotter days away from the coast. In March, the temperature shouldn’t drop lower than 22°C on rare cooler days. At night, you can expect it to be around 20°C, which is comfortable for sleeping. You’ll have no need to worry about wet weather in Playacar in March. This Mexican hotspot gets just 41mm across an average of four rainy days during the month. You can sunbathe and soak up the wonderful sunshine here in March. You’ll enjoy an average of ten hours each day with the sun rising at 7am and not disappearing until after 7pm. The water temperature at the beaches will be around 26°C, which is great for a refreshing dip in the clear seas. The heat, humidity and UV levels are moderate to high though, so take care in the sun and carry a bottle of water with you.
