Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in Cuba in September?
Cuba’s an archipelago in the northern Caribbean Sea at the point where the North Atlantic Ocean meets the Gulf of Mexico. This location gives it a warm tropical climate, and you'll get lots of high temperatures if you book your Cuba holidays in September, although the month does lie in the rainy season.
Climatic influences
The Tropic of Cancer runs through the north of Cuba, which means it has tropical weather with two distinct seasons. The dry season runs from November to April, and the wet season from May to October. The Caribbean Current brings warm waters to Cuba from the equator, although north easterly winds will help keep you cool. Cuba’s mainly flat, but there are mountains in the south east. There’s more rain in the north than the south due to the winds.
Averages
The average high in capital Havana on the north coast’s 31ºC in September. This only falls to 23ºC at night so you won’t need many warm clothes in your suitcase. Humidity’s very high, while the sea a lovely and warm 30ºC, which is perfect for swimming. Average rainfall’s 174mm over 13 rainy days, although you can still expect ten long hours of sunshine from the 12 hours of daylight each day. Take care in the sun and use plenty of sun cream, as UV levels will be extreme. Sunset’s at 7.45pm at the start of September.
