What’s the weather like in Cuba in February?

Cuba’s in the northern Caribbean, and has a tropical climate as the Tropic of Cancer runs through its north. This means temperatures are high all year round, so you'll get plenty of warm and sunny weather if you're going on your Cuba holidays in February. Things are a bit cooler than in the summer, although it’s a popular time to visit as it’s in the dry season which runs from November to April. You'll be warmed by the lovely Caribbean Current waters, although north easterly winds will help to keep you cool and comfortable. You'll have the least rain in the south because of the winds, even though there are mountains in the south east.

The average high in Havana is 26ºC in February, which is perfect for relaxing in the sun. Temperatures drop to a pleasant 17ºC at night, so you won’t need much more than a light jumper for the evenings. At 25ºC, the sea’s ideal for swimming, while humidity’s low. There’s 54mm of rain over seven days, and you can expect 11 hours of daylight with seven hours of sunshine each day. Make sure you remember to bring plenty of sun cream as UV levels will be very high. The sun goes down around 6.30pm for most of the month.
