Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in Barbados in December?
Located just 13 degrees north of the equator where the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean meet, Barbados has a hot tropical climate with not much difference in its high temperatures through the year. December’s the start of the dry season and you'll get lots of sun at this popular time.
Climatic influences
Barbados’ wet season starts towards the end of May and ends in early December, so there’s a lot less rain at this time. When it does rain, it’s usually in short sharp downpours that quickly clear. Atlantic winds will keep you cool, while there’s not much difference in weather around the island as it’s relatively flat. You'll get more rain around the mountains though, and the west Caribbean coast’s calmer than the north and east Atlantic coasts.
Averages
The average high in Bridgetown’s 29ºC in December, and you'll stay nice and warm in the evenings, which only cool to 22ºC. The sea temperature’s 28ºC, while humidity’s high. There’s 96mm of rain over 14 days. You can expect 11 hours of daylight each day with eight hours of sunshine. UV levels will be very high so pack your sun cream. Sunset’s just after 5.30pm through most of the month.
