Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
What's the weather like in the Caribbean in August?
Located near the equator, the Caribbean has a tropical climate with warm, sunny weather all year round. Although it can be wet at this time of year, showers are usually short and sharp so the rain won’t ruin your holiday. For the highest daytime temperatures visit the more northerly islands, while the southern islands are warmer after dark.
Averages
In August the southern islands of the Caribbean, including Barbados, are beautifully warm with average highs of 29°C and lows of 24°C. It’s also a wet month, with around 150mm of rain expected across 16 showery days. Further north in Cuba, temperatures are a little hotter in the daytime with highs of 32°C, and cooler at night as temperatures dip to an average low of 22°C. Just 70mm of rain’s expected over the course of the month, while the Caribbean Sea is a bath-like 30°C.
