What's the weather like in Cape Verde in September?

Located off the west coast of North Africa in the North Atlantic Ocean, Cape Verde has a stunning tropical climate with lots of sunshine in September. The weather doesn’t change much through the year in the ‘African Caribbean’, although September’s both the hottest and wettest month.

Climatic variances

Cape Verde hardly gets any rain, even though it’s a tropical destination. The most popular islands, Sal and Boa Vista, get less rain than other islands, which usually comes in short showers that leave clear blue skies behind.
