What's the weather like in Cape Verde in May?

Cape Verde has a tropical climate as it’s in the North Atlantic Ocean, off the west coast of North Africa. This means the ‘African Caribbean’ has high temperatures all year round, although there’s not much rain considering it’s a tropical destination. You can look forward to lots of hot and sunny weather if you're going in May, and pleasant sea breezes and trade winds will help to keep you cool and comfortable. The Cape Verde islands are relatively flat which means they're fairly windy.
