What's the weather like in Bulgaria in May?

Bulgaria is in Southeast Europe and has quite dynamic weather. In general, you'll find that things are getting better across the country in May as summer gets closer and you’ll get plenty of sun if you’re heading to the popular Black Sea coast. The Balkan Mountains run east to west through the middle of Bulgaria, which means you'll be warmest and driest in the south.
