What's the weather like in Bali in October?

Bali’s just eight degrees south of the equator and has tropical weather with high temperatures all year round. If you're going to the Indonesian island in October you'll have soaring temperatures although the amount of rain picks up as the month goes on. This is because the wet season starts in late October with the western monsoon bringing wet weather to Bali. When it rains it’s usually in heavy downpours however most days are nice and clear. Tall mountains dominate Bali’s interior, attracting rain and cooler temperatures. You can expect warmer and drier weather the further away from the mountains you go with the coast being the warmest area.

The normal high in popular Kuta is 31ºC in October so it’s lovely and hot. This only drops to 24ºC at night so you won’t need to bring many warm clothes. Don't forget your swimwear though as at 27ºC, the sea’s perfect for swimming. Humidity’s very high, and there’s 146mm of rain over two days. You can expect 12 hours of daylight with ten hours of sunshine each day. UV levels will be extremely high so sun cream is a must. The sun sets at around 6.15pm.
