What’s the weather like in Bali in February?

Bali’s in Indonesia just eight degrees south of the equator, which means it has a tropical climate with high temperatures all year round. You'll get plenty of hot and sunny weather if you're going in February, although it’s one of the wettest months of the year. This is because it’s in the wet season that runs from late October to April. You'll still get lots of great beach weather if you're going at this time though, as it often only rains for a short time. Bali has a number of high mountains in its centre, and the further away you are from them, the warmer and drier you'll be.

Kuta in the south, gives a good idea of Bali’s weather, and has an average high of 31ºC in February. This only drops to 24ºC at night, so you don't need to waste much space in your suitcase with warm clothes. The sea temperature is 29ºC, which is perfect for swimming, while humidity’s very high. There’s 267mm of rain over 18 days, but you can still expect 12 hours of daylight with eight hours of sunshine each day. Make sure you bring plenty of sun cream as UV levels will be extremely high. The sun goes down around 6.45pm.
