Private beach? You got it! And it’s just one of a shedload of ritzy features at Aska Lara Resort & Spa. From the Wet‘n Wild Park to the lush nightclub, holidays at this swish hotel are jam-packed with things to do between breakfast time and the early hours.

For lazy days in the sun, there’s a bar right beside the sand - perfect for chilling with a cold one while the Med laps the pebbly waterline. There’s an array of blue pools too, plus a kids’ sprayground. And if you’re there in the cooler months, you’re going to love the warm water at the spa, where you can swim indoors or out (heated November to March). Book yourself in for a soothing treatment while you’re there. You deserve some pamper time!

Meanwhile, children are going to love planting, watering and harvesting in the Hobby Garden. And then there’s the activities for different age ranges over at the kids’ and teens’ clubs, from the parent-supervised Bambino room (ages 1-3 years) to a Wild West town for those too-cool-for-school 13-17 year olds.

If you’ve got plenty of get-up-and-go yourself, pack your sports kit for volleyball, football and tennis, or join in with the water games and fun sports contests. In the games centre, aim for a strike at the bowling alley, challenge your family at pool and see if you can make the leaderboard in the arcade. Or, go ziplining, ride waterslides and test yourself on the high rope course.

But what about the food? Help yourself to mouthwatering buffets at the included Anka restaurant with its pool view terrace, take your pick from the tasty poolside snack menus, or reserve a table at your pick of the a la cartes for a charge. With ten places to eat, you’ll find everything from fine Italian fare and classy Asian cuisine to delicious Turkish offerings. Whatever you do, don’t miss the homemade baklava.

Rooms are super-elegant, air-conditioned and have everything you need for a cosy stay, from fluffy towels for your shower to a minibar with daily refills. Other handy features include free Wifi, tea/coffee facilities, safe and satellite TV. Cots are available free of charge.

Standard rooms (sleep up to 3 adults and 1 child) have twin beds or a French bed (small double), sofa bed, shower room and balcony. Economy rooms are similar with no balcony. For extra space, book Connecting standard rooms, one with twin beds and the other with a French bed. Or, choose a Family room (sleeps up to 4 adults and 1 child), which includes a master bedroom with shower, twin bedroom with WC, spacious balcony and premium TV channels.

Romantic break? Aska Lara’s Suites (sleep up to 2 adults and 1 child) are your perfect hideaway! You’ll get a king-size bed in a separate bedroom, and your own lounge too!

King Suites are extra luxe with floor-to-ceiling windows, bathroom with whirlpool tub, master bedroom with French bed and en suite shower, twin bedroom, panoramic balcony and a kitchenette for that home-from-home feel.

If you need a space that’s easy to navigate, All-Access rooms are designed for wheelchair-user accessibility (think grab rails, roll-in shower and wider doors), and are also ideal for anyone else with reduced mobility.

Rooms are also available in Aska River Suites annexe, 100m from the main building (450m from Wet‘n Wild and the beach) with a regular shuttle bus to ferry you around in the summer months. The annexe has its own pool, snack restaurant and bar, as well as access to everything else that’s included in your package. Annexe rooms are similarly equipped to those in the main building. Standard rooms (sleep up to 3 people) have a kitchenette and a French/Juliet balcony. Family rooms (sleep up to 4 people) have a kitchenette, French/Juliet balcony and two bedrooms - one with a French bed and shower room, the other with twin beds.

All this is just 12km from Antalya airport, an easy drive by hire car (about 20-30 minutes) or you could book a transfer with your holiday. You’ll no doubt be keen to get out and explore, too, as you’ll be staying in the sightseeing heartland of Turkey’s Antalya area. Take a peek back into the ancient past with a walk around the streets of the Old Town in Antalya city (12km). Or pay a visit to Side with its Greek and Roman ruins (approx 60km away) and the waterfalls at Manavgat nearby.

And, while Aska Lara’s own beach is only around 500m away, you’ll also find some of the most incredible sandy stretches in easy reach - top of the list should be Lara Beach (5.7km) with its golden sands and Blue Flag status.

Please note that a number of the facilities and activities at Aska Lara Resort & Spa are 350m away at the hotel’s Wet‘n Wild Park, such as waterslides, ziplining and high ropes. Some aren’t part of your All Inclusive but are totally worth the extra charges!
