Bugibba is a firm favourite among travellers to Malta, and it’s easy to see why. Tucked between St Paul’s and Qawra in the stunning St Paul’s Bay, you’ll feel like you’re staying in more than one resort. A stunning waterside promenade runs across the three towns, and Bugibba has its own small beach, too. You’ll also find a quaint harbour here, filled with pretty painted boats that add a burst of colour to already charming scenery. Don’t forget to bring your camera, as this part of Malta is perfect for budding photographers. If you want to see somewhere new, why not take a trip over to one of Malta’s islands? Gozo and Comino are just idyllic.

One of Bugibba’s major draws is the glorious weather that the resort enjoys. Malta has some of the best weather anywhere in Europe, so you can look forward to plenty of lazy days lounging around in the warm Mediterranean sunshine. There are lots of little pebbled beaches in and around Bugibba, so you can try and find a nice quiet one for the day. If you’d rather relax on a sandy beach, head to the town’s main stretch, Perched Beach.

Action-packed

When you’re ready for some action, Bugibba has lots of fun-filled water sports to try out. Have a go at waterskiing and jet skiing, or get your pulse racing on a white-knuckle banana boat ride. If you’re a scuba diver, or feel like learning while you’re away, head to one of the town’s dive centres and book an exciting trip. If you’d rather stay dry, go on a boat trip across the bay and see the impressive statue that dominates St. Paul’s Island.

Great activities

Spend the day sightseeing at 14th century St. Paul’s Church, watching the kids splash around at Bugibba Water Park as you explore the promenade, or just relaxing at the beach. Then head to the town’s main square for the evening as you sip a few drinks and try the local cuisine. There’s something to suit all manner of budgets, whether you want to settle down for a long meal or eat a sunset takeaway on a bench.
