On the northern coast of Corfu is Sidari, a pretty little village bursting with classic Greek charm. It’s a firm family favourite, with its three sunny beaches, welcoming tavernas and nearby water park. The stunning coastline with secluded coves is made for exploring. Fun-loving grown-ups will want to sample the buzzing nightlife scene, and the main strip is lined with lively bars, pubs and clubs. Whether you want a gentle break or to pick up the pace, you’ll find what you’re looking for on holidays to Sidari.

Things to do

Take a walk along Sidari’s sunny coastline and you’ll see why the beaches are the star of the show here. Whether you want to get a tan or get some water sports action, this is where you’ll want to be. Don’t forget about the cliffs of the Canal d’Amour; from here you’ll have uninterrupted views over the Adriatic Sea. Little (and not so little) ones will love the splash about at the Hydropolis Water Park down the road, where you can ride the slides and grab a bite to eat.

Excellent beaches

Sidari has several Blue Flag beaches along its stunning coastline. With the eroded, soft rock cliffs, the area is full of striking caves and arches to explore too. Thrilling water sports and scuba diving excursions are available throughout the resort, providing the perfect opportunity to discover the vibrant marine life that dwells offshore.

History and culture

Sidari used to be a small, working fishing village until tourists flocked to experience its stunning views in the 1980s. Today it has grown to accommodate over 17,000 holidaymakers a year and promises to entertain with both modern and cultural things to do. The Canal D’Amour will have you falling head over heels with someone, as ancient legends predicted love on the horizon for anyone to dares to swim its length. And a visit to the 13th century working monastery in nearby Paleokastritsa will give you an insight into Corfu’s ancient history, so make sure you pay a visit here too.

Nightlife

Aside from its beautiful beaches and fascinating fables, Sidari is also celebrated for its vibrant nightlife. Many bars host live music, so sit back, relax and enjoy the show whilst sipping on drinks and cocktails. Maybe you like to put on your dancing shoes or have a go at karaoke? Well, with lots to do around the resort for families, groups and couples, you’re bound to be entertained no matter what your interests.
